ICAEW

Client: The Talent Foundry (TTF)

ICAEW, BDO, EY, Grant Thornton, KPMG and PwC, in partnership with The Talent Foundry (TTF), founded Rise in 2021 with the purpose of 'equipping the most underserved young people in the UK with the skills they need to succeed in life and work’.

Now with 40+ employer partners, Rise supports students aged 11-16 in social mobility cold spots across the UK, offering a multi-pronged approach to developing essential skills and enhancing career understanding.

Rise hosts educational workshops facilitated by TTF - volunteers share their expertise and insight with students. These workshops offer unique opportunities for young people to gain valuable knowledge about careers.

Rise also sponsors five schools in Skills Builder's Accelerator Programme - schools embed key skills throughout their syllabus, improving the employability and future prospects of all students. Rise offers free KS3/KS4 resources - linked to the national curriculum, teachers can deliver career-themed lessons or set the activities as homework. These resources provide support for educators and ensure young people have access to career guidance.

Last academic year alone, Rise engaged over 49,500 young people through 319 workshops and 3,000 downloaded resources. Rise is committed to expanding its reach and aims to engage with 82,000 students this year.
