Rise

Client: The Talent Foundry

Launched in December 2021 by ICAEW, BDO, EY, Grant Thornton, KPMG and PwC, Rise was created with the vision of ‘equipping the hardest to reach young people with the skills they need to succeed in life and work.’ Rise went into partnership with The Talent Foundry to work towards this vision.

Through this collaboration, our volunteers support young people in social mobility cold spots to develop essential skills and better understand career pathways into our industry, through workshops developed and delivered by The Talent Foundry. To date, over 10,000 young people have taken part in workshops, and since its launch over 30 partner organisations have joined the collaboration, contributing around 1,500 volunteer hours to our cause.

By bringing together volunteers from industry with under-resourced schools, Rise is helping young people from underserved backgrounds discover their talents, develop valuable new skills, and ultimately be better equipped to take their first step into higher education or the world of work.
