Omaze and Campaign Against Living Miserably Fundraising Partnership
Omaze
Client: Campaign Against Living Miserably
Omaze devised, funded and resourced a social media, TV and press campaign, with help from CALM staff, to promote the draw. The campaign also massively raised awareness about CALM and its work supporting people with who are experiencing suicidal thoughts or are bereaved by suicide. The outreach was seen by more than 45 million people. This included funny and moving films with the charity’s patron, comedian Ramesh Ranganathan, that were viewed some 17 million times and increased prize-draw sales significantly.
This was the first time Omaze had worked with a mental-health charity. It reaffirmed our commitment to promoting the voices and welfare of marginalised groups in society. The issues of suicide and mental health are still too often shied away from by other fundraisers and organisations.
