NewDay is a leading provider of consumer credit in the UK, providing innovative credit products direct to consumers and through relationships with leading retail partners. Our purpose is to help people move forward with credit. Our purpose doesn’t stop with our products. We believe we have a broader responsibility to support the communities we serve.

Since 2016, NewDay has partnered with Family Action, who closely shares our purpose to help create forward progression in individual’s lives, supporting people through change, challenge and crisis. Together, through effective, consistent and via targeted support, we have helped to transform lives and allowed people experiencing poverty and disadvantage to move forward.

Our partnership with Family Action is activated in numerous ways, including targeted corporate donations supporting the Open Doors Grants Programme, an initiative that provides small cash grants to individuals experiencing severe and multiple disadvantages. A year-round colleague volunteering programme, where NewDay colleagues can donate their time every week at Family Actions FOOD Clubs, a service that enables low-income families to access good-quality food at low cost. To year-round fundraising challenges and activities too.

In 2024, we reached a partnership milestone, with £2 million having been donated to date through corporate donations and fundraising.
