Jo Hale

Since Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity became Deloitte’s charity partner for the South West, Jo Hale has gone above and beyond in her fundraising efforts. Joined by her colleague and sister-in-law Sam Hart, they’ve taken on abseiling and cycling and together they’ve raised almost £12,000. 

Their fundraising has been driven by wanting to say thank you to the NHS in Bristol. Jo’s husband Steve, Sam’s brother, was treated at Bristol hospitals after he had an accident at work that left him fighting for his life. 

The money they’ve raised goes towards improving the holistic education programme available to young patients at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. Drama, singing and music lessons are now on offer for long-term patients at the hospital. This simply wouldn’t have been possible without the dedicated support from outstanding employees like Jo and Sam.
