Housebuilder Bellway partners with CRUK to raise £3 million through its 3 for 23 campaign

Bellway’s charity partnership with Cancer Research UK is a truly ground-breaking project which has raised more than £3 million to fund lifesaving research.

CRUK has been Bellway’s national charity partner since 2016 and since then, employees from all 21 divisions and head office at the housebuilder have dedicated their fundraising efforts to the cause. Fundraising stepped up another level in 2022 with the launch of the 3 for 23 campaign to raise £3 million by the end of 2023. This ambitious target would not have been achieved without the hard work, inspiration and commitment of the company’s employees, suppliers, and subcontractors. Bellway’s strategic focus on charitable giving meant that every pound raised by employees was double matched by the company to boost their total. This was a partnership in every sense, with the fundraising campaign running alongside a health awareness programme involving CRUK nurses visiting Bellway sites to help employees reduce their risk of cancer. In the event, the magic £3 million mark was reached early, with an incredible £3.36 million raised by the end of 2023. The money raised will help CRUK continue to drive progress towards its ultimate mission – ‘together we are beating cancer’.
