In the last 12 months, Deliveroo and its customers have donated the equivalent of over 1.6 million meals to people facing hunger across the UK. This has been made possible through our partnership with Trussell and dedication to supporting the charity’s work helping people facing food insecurity. By introducing the first-ever charity round-up feature on the Deliveroo app, the partnership has empowered customers to take action, raising over £3m in donations since its inception in April 2022. These funds enabled Trussell to provide essential grants to food banks, supporting people struggling to afford the essentials.

Deliveroo’s dedication goes far beyond fundraising. Over 150 employees volunteered for Trussell in 2024, bringing their skills and expertise through a specialised volunteering programme to strengthen the charity’s work. Through impactful PR, social media, and influencer campaigns, the partnership has significantly amplified public awareness, helping Trussell engage new audiences and deepen its reach.

As one of Trussell’s largest and most influential partnerships, Deliveroo has been instrumental in supporting the charity’s efforts to challenge perceptions of poverty and food bank need in the UK. Having extended the partnership, Deliveroo continues to champion the fight against food insecurity, bringing vital support to people facing hardship.
