The Charles Russell Speechlys (CRS) Foundation and Emmaus UK have been working in partnership since 2020. The Foundation trustees chose Emmaus as a core charity partner identifying alignment of values and the potential for an impactful partnership with overarching shared goal for positive change. The Foundation and the firm have worked closely together with Emmaus to develop a multi-layered holistic partnership. The Foundation provides vital unrestricted funding needed to support Emmaus in their mission to end homelessness. The firm builds on that support by providing pro bono advice, sharing business services skills and expertise through volunteering. Our long-term committed strategic partnership stands out in the sector for delivering valuable funds and impact supporting the aim to help end homelessness.

We are entering this category because not only has the CRS Foundation supported Emmaus with vital funds of £167,500 since the partnership began, but we have also provided pro bono legal support, volunteering and delivered multiple skill-sharing initiatives that have had a significant impact on Emmaus in helping them to support people experiencing homelessness. The partnership is truly mutually beneficial for both parties united in the common aim to building a more equitable future for society and the communities we operate
