Cadent Social Programmes Team
Cadent
Client: Various across UK
We build partnerships across the most deprived areas of the UK, collaborating with over 70 local and national charities, and supporting a diverse range of individuals including offering relevant assistance for young people, families, and people who are vulnerable.
Through collaboration, we customise support offerings to where the needs are greatest and have made accessing funding easier for smaller organisations to expand their services. We engage with local community groups and politicians, actively communicate with relevant agencies, and continuously ensure project relevance through hands-on stakeholder engagement.
Key projects include the Vulnerability and Carbon Monoxide Allowance (VCMA) specific partnerships with organisations like YMCA and Royal British Legion, and the Centres for Warmth initiative, which aim to address fuel poverty and ensure safety in vulnerable communities.
Over the last 12-months the team delivered more than 100 separate initiatives, investing over £39m and creating a social value well in excess of £1bn. Much of this relates to financial savings secured for customers living in fuel poverty, delivering an average saving of £2,000.
