Baker McKenzie and London’s Air Ambulance Charity

Baker McKenzie LLP

Client: London's Air Ambulance Charity

Baker McKenzie's London office has launched a three-year partnership with the London's Air Ambulance Charity (LAAC) aligning with the Firm's values and the charity's vital work. The partnership aims to involve employees in fundraising and volunteering, raise awareness of LAAC's work, and provide essential funds for its life-saving services.

In the first year, Baker McKenzie raised over £120,000, surpassing a £100,000 milestone, which led to the Firm's logo being displayed on a new helicopter. The partnership has included helipad visits, a lunch and learn session with a flight paramedic, and innovative fundraising activities like BakerVision and BakerRace. The Firm has also provided pro bono legal support and responded to urgent needs, such as funding an ultrasound machine. Volunteering is a key engagement strategy, with over 50 employees participating in the LAAC's 'Big City Collection' campaign.

The partnership is highlighted through internal and external communication channels, including social media and digital signage. Baker McKenzie is committed to continuing this impactful collaboration, with plans for CPR training and further fundraising activities. The partnership has fostered a strong, mutually beneficial relationship, with significant engagement from stakeholders at all levels.
